We stay after everyone else leaves

Most water treatment companies design, build, commission, and move on. Within
months, the plant underperforms and nobody is tracking compliance. We built
Blueways to do the opposite.

The Problem

Your plant was built well. But
who is running it?

This is what Blueways O&M exists to fix. We put
trained operators on your site, we monitor daily,
we track the numbers that matter, and we deliver
honest reports every month.

Most STP and WTP failures are not engineering failures. The design was fine. The equipment was adequate. The operation was the problem.

The Blueways Difference

Four things we do that no other O&M contractor in this
region does.

Any company can send an operator. The difference is what that operator knows, what they track, and who is
accountable when something goes wrong.

01

Optimising the invisible cost

Electrical consumption is the single biggest ongoing cost of an STP — and the one most clients never see on the quote. We design and operate every plant to minimise blower runtime, pump loads, and continuous power draw, keeping your monthly bills measurably lower.

02

Safety of equipment and people

Operators work with gloves and safety shoes. Panels are automated and built robust. Periodic amp-meter checks on every motor catch electrical faults before they become failures. Protecting the plant means protecting the people who run it.

03

Regular MLSS tracking

MLSS — the concentration of active bacteria in the aeration tank — is the single most important indicator of biological plant health. Most operators ignore it until something breaks. We track MLSS regularly and adjust before problems show up in the effluent.

04

Honest monthly reporting

Every O&M client gets a monthly report showing actual plant performance — not fabricated numbers. Energy consumption, chemical usage, influent vs effluent quality, compliance status, and any issues flagged with actions taken. You see exactly what your plant is doing.

What's Included

Everything your plant needs to run properly.

Our O&M contracts are comprehensive — so you do not have to think about your plant at all.

Trained operators on site

Daily presence. Your plant is not left to an untrained watchman. Our operators know the equipment, the chemistry, and the protocols.

Daily monitoring

Pump runtime, water quality readings, flow rates, chemical levels — tracked every day. WhatsApp reports with readings and action items.

MLSS & water quality tracking

Regular testing of biological health (MLSS), influent and effluent quality (BOD, COD, TSS, pH). Proactive adjustment before failures occur.

Chemical supply & dosing

We manage chemical procurement, storage, and dosing optimisation. No overdosing, no underdosing — just the right amount for your water quality.

Routine maintenance

Scheduled preventive maintenance on pumps, blowers, diffusers, panels, and civil structures. We catch problems before they become breakdowns.

Fast breakdown response

When something breaks — and it will eventually — our response is same-day. We do not wait for escalation calls. The operator flags it, we fix it.

Your Monthly Report

What you see every month.

A clear, honest report showing exactly how your plant performed. No fabricated numbers. No hiding bad data.

Who Needs O&M

If your plant exists, it needs proper operation

We manage plants we built — and plants built by others. If it is underperforming, non-compliant, or just not
being run properly, we can fix it.

Builders

STP installed but no expertise to run it. We take over.

Societies

Underperforming after builder left. We diagnose and fix.

Hospitals

Zero-downtime ETP with full compliance documentation.

Industries

Full ETP compliance, monitoring, and SPCB reporting.

Common Questions

Questions about O&M contracts.

Yes. We do a thorough assessment of the existing plant — equipment condition, process performance, compliance history — and then propose an O&M plan. If remediation is needed first (equipment repair, biology restart, media replacement), we scope that separately before starting the O&M contract.

Pricing depends on plant size, location, scope (operator hours, chemical supply, monitoring frequency), and plant type (STP, WTP, or ETP). We price transparently and in line with regional rates. What we do not do is cut corners on chemicals or skip safety checks to hit a low monthly number — the entire point of our O&M is that it actually works.

We can work with your existing operator. Our model can be full takeover (our operator replaces yours) or supervisory (we train, monitor, and guide your operator while providing the tracking, reporting, and technical oversight). Many clients prefer the supervisory model because it builds in-house capability while ensuring quality.

After a site assessment (1–2 days), we can start O&M within 1–2 weeks. If the plant needs remediation first, that timeline depends on the scope of repairs needed. We are transparent about what needs fixing before O&M can begin — we will not take over a broken plant and pretend it is running fine.

Every monthly report covers: influent vs effluent water quality (BOD, COD, TSS, pH, coliform), energy consumption per KL treated, chemical consumption and cost, equipment status and maintenance actions taken, compliance status against CPCB/SPCB norms, and any issues flagged with recommended actions. It is honest reporting — if something is wrong, we tell you.
